Then of course, you have to have the traffic to get the sales. For the site I'm talking about, it gets around 1000-2000 unique visitors per day that are well targeted for both affiliate programs. Interestingly, since I wrote the post, the profit from these programs has increased even more. They are doing better a few months after starting them.
